Isak Enquis

Contemporary Dance Instructor

Isak is a Canadian movement artist, choreographer, teacher, actor, and experimental musician/sound designer. Raised in the Kootenays/Ktunaxa, he began with Shotokan Karate-Do (1st Dan) before training in dance at Simon Fraser University and Modus Operandi. He works within Canada’s contemporary dance scene, blending martial and expressive movement, and has performed nationally and internationally with companies like Out Innerspace, Compagnie Vision Impure, and Shay Kuebler Radical System Art. He teaches at Harbour Dance Centre, Lamon Dance Company, and guest lectures internationally. Isak has choreographed works for major festivals, including Vancouver International Dance Festival, Dancing On the Edge, and Blackout Theatre Society.
